Robert is a highly experienced psychologist with more than 12 years of experience working with a diverse client group. He has worked with adolescents, adults, groups, families and couples in a variety of settings. He is thoughtful and relaxed, with an empathic and easygoing style in the counselling room which supports you to feel safe and accepted. He is a husband and father of two young children. In his leisure time, Robert enjoys time with his family, various community groups and ultra-marathon running!

In addition to private practice, Robert has worked in public health and forensic settings. He has a great deal of experience in the field of youth addictions and recovery and is a published author in the field of youth trauma. Robert has supported his clients in overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma, substance dependence and familial dynamic breakdown.

Robert brings a deep understanding to his client’s presenting problems and understands that at times, people experience complex thoughts, emotions and behaviours which cloud their path forward in life. Through the application of evidence-based interventions, Robert assists his clients to identify a clear path towards psychological and emotional wellbeing.

Throughout the entire therapy process, Robert is always open to feedback on your progress and actively invites you to share your needs and experiences. His aim is to work with you in order to identify a clear path towards happiness and purposeful living.
